You can use either UART or Ethernet to establish communication between the flight controller and the ground station.
UART Communication Method:
Wiring: Connect UART1 of the air unit to TELEM1 of the flight controller, and connect the ground unit's Ethernet port to the computer's Ethernet port.
Flight Controller Configuration: Set SERIAL1_PROTOCOL to 115.
Computer Configuration: Set a static IP address of 192.168.1.100.
Ground Station: In Mission Planner, select UDP, port 14551, and connect.

Ethernet Communication Method:

Wiring: Connect the air unit's Ethernet port to the flight controller's Ethernet port, and connect the ground unit's Ethernet port to the computer's Ethernet port.
