After downloading, proceed with the installation directly, avoiding any Chinese characters in the installation directory. Upon successful installation of the software, the following program set will be available.:

Hardware Connection
- Use an MMCX connector to TNC or SMA adapter to connect the satellite antenna.
- Use a USB cable to connect the device to the computer.
The board will virtually connect two serial ports on the computer side, and the serial port numbers can be viewed through the Device Manager interface.

At the same time, the USB connection will also virtually create a network port with a fixed IP address of 192.168.3.1.
Notes:
① For the P-Box-X6 S1 single-antenna version, USB connection can also provide power, eliminating the need for an external power supply.
② The connection for the P-Box-X6 S2 dual-antenna version is shown in the diagram below.

Connecting the Board with RxControl Software
- Launch the RxControl software, and the Connection Setup dialog box will pop up. Select Serial Connection/Create New... For the first connection, you need to create a new one; for subsequent connections, you can select the already created serial connection.

- After a successful connection, the interface of RxControl will look as follows:

Check Firmware and Upgrade
Confirm Board Version
- 通过RxControl 软件Help/Receiver Identification 查看固件版本

-
Check the firmware version through the RxControl software under Help/Receiver Identification: https://www.gnss-imu.com/down/html/48.html
Firmware Upgrade
If it is found in the previous step that the firmware is not the latest version, proceed with the firmware upgrade using the following steps, taking version 4.7.1 as an example:
- In RxControl software, go to File/Upgrade Receiver using Current Connection...
-
Select the latest firmware files. There are two firmware files: first upgrade the failsafe.suf firmware file, and then upgrade the 4.7.1.suf firmware file.
-

- Upgrade successful.

- Reconnect RxControl and confirm that the firmware version information has been updated through Help/Receiver Identification.
Check the board status
The antenna gain for normal operation of the board is between 15-50dB. Excessively high gain indicates poor antenna connection or excessive cable loss. You can determine the antenna gain value through RxControl -> View -> AGC Table.
